Turin Chocolate Tour

The patisseries and chocolatiers of Turin have been frequented since the 18th century and have barely changed since then. You can experience their unique charms for yourself in the historical city centre, with its beautiful piazzas and arcades. This small group tour of about 15 people is ideal for anyone who loves chocolate. Small group tours provide the opportunity to ask your guide as many questions as you like, affording a memorable and informative experience.

Your guide will meet you outside the Palazzo Madama in Piazza Castello. From here you will set off to explore the Old Town, and experience the character and charm of the chocolate shops and cafes; sampling the best chocolate around, as well as learning about the chocolate making process.

You will also stop at a renowned chocolatier, where they invented a unique process for making chocolate, which you will hear all about during your visit. The man behind this technique is now one of the world’s most famous artisan chocolatiers!

There will be some time to relax at a cafe and indulge in some delicious sweet delights. A ‘must visit’ café is "Al Bicerin", after which the creamy drink is named - a blend of chocolate, coffee and milk - this is where it was born.

The tour will end with a taste of the Pinguino ice-cream; the first ever ice-cream on a stick! Anyone with a sweet tooth will love this tour!
